The Lotus was chosen to be the symbol for the Vizaro Local Network because of the way it grows and the similarities between that process and the process of starting a business. The Lotus is one of the most beautiful flowers on the planet, but it doesn't come by it easily. Lotus blossoms start at the very bottom of the pond in the mud and muck. They slowly grow upwards, fighting to get to the surface and into the light. Once they reach the surface and bloom, they become one of the most recognized and noticeable flowers of all because of their majestic beauty.
The Vizaro Local Network exists to help local businesses flourish by connecting them with and rewarding their VIPs- the locals, their neighbors, their regulars.
